Licensing Committee

The Licensing Committee determines applications for licences, permits and registrations in terms of the following Acts and all related subordinate legislation and to exercise discretion in terms of any condition attached to such licences, permits or registrations where the approval of the Council as Licensing is required, as well as determining, implementing and monitoring the Council's policy in relation to these functions; otherwise exercises the powers and duties of the Council under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982; sets fees and charges for the licences, registrations and permits; and exercises powers under the Anti-Social Behaviour (etc) Scotland 2004 Part 8.
